The report, “Third quarter not the premiership quarter for some”, analyses the first ten rounds of the 2008 AFL season comparing 3rd quarter scores to final scores. Patrick was inspired by watching the Fremantle Dockers latest string of losing sequences after leading their opposition at three quarter time. The Fremantle Dockers are the only team to have led at three quarter time in five consecutive games only to go on and lose the game. If the game was stopped after three thirds, the Dockers would be seventh on the ladder.
